The new MCP server lets developers access Copilot Studio through tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and OpenAI's Codex. Makers can create agents, configure workflows, run tests, publish updates, and troubleshoot issues using natural-language instructions.
Put AI Agents in Charge of Ongoing Business Processes
Agent accounts allow users to delegate tasks to AI agents through Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Office files. With business process memory, approved credentials, and event-based triggers, agents can manage ongoing responsibilities without waiting for constant human prompts.
Create Smarter Voice and Chat Experiences for Customers
The new customer conversation harness provides a dedicated environment for building customer-facing agents across voice and chat. Its multi-agent architecture, specialised sub-agents, and human escalation paths help organisations deliver efficient and scalable customer experiences.
Connect Specialised Agents to Work Together
New A2A support allows Copilot Studio agents to communicate and collaborate with specialised agents built using other compatible frameworks. Agents can discover capabilities and delegate tasks to one another, bringing different AI solutions together without rebuilding everything on one platform.
Track Agent Consumption and Keep Costs Under Control
New cost management capabilities help makers track Copilot Credits during development and identify consumption across workflow runs and nodes. Administrators can also monitor usage, spending trends, and remaining credit capacity through the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
